” That which has been is that which will be, and that which has been done is that which will be done. So, there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1: 9
My friend always likes me to take her to “new” places to hike. We explored Horsethief Park and Falls path on our way to Pancake Rocks. We enjoy catching up with each other and our lives. We both are in, or facing unemployment not from our own choosing. There is great satisfaction in physically challenging ourselves on the weekend and viewing something new. We spent time sharing about our work interview challenges as we climbed the mountain. It makes the time go quickly.
Even though we passed through dark days getting to know each other, we enjoy the adventure of living in Colorado. Training her dog Molly how to hike, greet people and dogs, and climb rocks gives us both great joy.

She enjoys exploring new things, staying close to us on the path but likes to follow smells wherever they take her. She was fascinated by the “tree graveyard” as it was so new to her.
Even though the tree has been there for decades, it was new to her. Molly reminds me to explore, see things through new eyes, and enjoy each day.
What new things do you need to explore?
