Whether you are new to an area or a native, an experienced or novice hiker, one of the best ways to get to know people and your surroundings is to hike. You may never put on hiking boots, but people like to walk, even if it is around their neighborhood. There are so many trails, sidewalks, parks, and paths to explore whether it is on the mountain, in the city, on a business trip or a vacation. We see new sights, smell the differences, share the experiences, feel the breeze and hear all the unique sounds when we are outside walking or hiking. This is a blog of devotionals that you can use in any order. It includes hike descriptions in many places in the United States and overseas. Each blog includes a scripture, a true story of my hiking experiences, and a question or two for you to ponder. Whether you read it at the beginning, middle, or end of your hike, you will be drawn to our “Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day.” Genesis 3:8 (NAS).
