Walk! Yes! Twirl! Happy!

In Colorado in the USA, Spring is coming in April.  We get teasers of sunshine mixed with five inches of snow within two days.  With the statewide lockdown in our homes, the neighborhoods are flooded with families, kids and of course dogs.

Our dog Taz, views the lock down very differently.  There are two words in our house that make my Taz dance and twirl:  Walk and Go!

Yippee!  I love socks and jeans and certain shoes!

Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me; Lord, be my help. You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clo thed me with joy,
that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise you forever.” Psalm 30:10-12  (NIV)

I have certain things I want to visit at the park – the water pump, wastebasket and the park sign. This is like going to the neighborhood post office for my people.   I find the mail-box is full of cards and smells from friends!

Even though the same path becomes boring for my people, I always finds something new to investigate and upon which to leave my mark.  I have the ability to hold my bladder and bowel until I get to the park usually.  I am amazing.

What routines have been disrupted for you during the “age of Covid-19”?  What habits have you maintained?
