Travel involves memories. Memories involve things. Things mean shopping. I collected small trinkets from every country I visited to use as Christmas ornaments. Almost every year, I pull out my travel tree for display. Such memories. Such symbolism of this Blessed Christmas season. They bring me smells, sights, cultural customs and the thrill of real candles on a real tree in Switzerland on Christmas Eve!
